About
The jump between primary and secondary school may be overwhelming. Facing a new environment, new subjects, our dear Form 1 Paulinians might feel a little lost when trying to adapt to their new Secondary School life.
The SPCS Big Sister Scheme is a service where F.4 and F.5 Paulinians - Big Sisters, provide supportive tuition sessions to new F.1 Paulinians - Little Sisters.
Little Sisters can depend on their Big Sisters for academic help, as well as benefit from their valuable experience of adopting to SPCS as Form 1 students themselves. Our dedicated high form students also take this opportunity to teach their Little Sisters studying methods and time management skills.

Our aims
Sustaining our Paulinian Spirit
Through providing regular tutorial sessions, we hope that Little Sisters will adapt better to their new SPCS life. And sharing with them study tips and time managment skills would better hone their self-driven revision.
We also hope that Little Sisters are able to gain more confidence in themselves through this scheme and learn more about this school. We hope to pass down the core values of our school, such as "being all things to all people', actualising the 7Cs, Habits of Mind etc. Little Sisters will have a strong sense of belonging to SPCS and their Paulinian spirit!
At the same time, through generously giving and serving, our Big Sisters will develop useful skills, such as teaching, nurturing, counselling and mediation. They may even discover new talents they never knew they had.
